Leonard Crothers, a World War II Army veteran, passed at Evergreen Lakeport Healthcare April 24, 2006. Born in San Jose May 25, 1923, he retired as a Senior Investigator with the Finance Department of San Jose, before moving to Lakeport 18 years ago.

Leonard loved Lakeport and Clear Lake and teaching his two grandchildren how to fish.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Joan.

Survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Gordon) Castro; sons, Leonard Crothers III and David Crothers; grandchildren, William Howsmon and Cleo Crothers, all of San Jose and good friend, Donna Brewster of Lakeport.

At his request no services were held.
