Gary Lea Hixson, age 60, passed away May 1, 2006, in Lower Lake. He was a 20-year Lake County resident. He was born Jan. 10, 1946. He served in the United States Army. He was a electrician for 30 years and co-owner of Shear Image in Clearlake. He was a lifetime member of the Lower Lake Historic Society. Gary?s hobbies were horseback riding, gardening, sailing and skiing. His favorite pastime was enjoying his life with his dogs and loving wife of four years on their Sky High Ridge ranch.
He is survived by his wife, Tina of Morgan Valley; sister, Judy Gollan of Santa Rosa; step-daughter, Kimberley (Jason) Bradley of Cotati; step-son, Eric Lindell of Louisiana; niece, Debi (Michael) Roche of St. Helena; nephew, Sean Gollan of Calistoga; and grandchildren Ellory, Violet and Mercy.
A celebration of Gary?s life will be held 11 a.m. May 20 at Sky High Ridge (?The End Of The Trail?).
Donations may be made to Hospice Services of Lake County.
