Kevin Bruce McNally passed away at his home on May 1, 2006, at the age of 48. He was born in Ukiah Aug. 22, 1957.
He is survived by his son, USMC LCPL Jared Wade McNally of the 3D FAST ATTACK Company; girlfriend, Cindy Melvin of Ukiah; mother, Jean McNally; brother and sister in-law, Scott and Gabriele McNally of Concord; sister, Lisa Parsons of McMinnville, Ore.; nieces and nephews, Corinna, Christopher, Anita, Will, Jake, and Seth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben McNally of Ukiah.
Kevin graduated from Ukiah High School in 1976. He worked as the office manager at Mendo Lake Office Products in Lakeport. He was a member of the Mendocino County Sheriff?s Office Search and Rescue, Mendocino County Four Wheel Drive Club and the Ukiah Valley 4th of July Revelry logistics and operations engineer.
Kevin was a mentor and friend to many in the Redwood Empire. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was very full of life in the community as a volunteer throughout Lake and Mendocino counties. He is deeply loved by his close friends and family.
Viewing will be held at 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Eversole Mortuary. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday May 5, at the New Life Community Church, preceding the graveside service.
