Floy Lane, 96, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2006. She was born Jan. 18, 1910, in Palisade, Colo. She spent most of her youth in Stuart, Iowa. As a young adult, Floy worked for the government in Washington, D.C. Later moving to California she worked as a legal secretary while raising her family. She was a 10-year resident of Lake County.
She is survived by her four children, Phyllis Harley, Bill Lane, Patricia Palma and John Lane; 15 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Floy requested that no services be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
