LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Yacht Club will host its annual Spring Regatta on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Clear Lake.
The three-day weekend begins with a dinner for all contestants and family members on Friday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Lakeport Yacht Club, located at the end of Fifth Street near the boat ramp. The meal will include spaghetti, salad, French bread and a beverage.
The skipper?s meeting foll-ows on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Lakeport Yacht Club. Three races will be held Saturday and two Sunday, weather permitting. Three or more one-design boats will be scored as a class and all other bats will be scoring using the Portsmouth handicap system. All classes and experience levels are welcome.
On Saturday night, contestants and family members return to the Lakeport Yacht Club for a steak dinner with baked potato, salad, a beverage and dessert. Adult and children?s dinners are available. Continental breakfasts will be available Saturday and Sunday mornings.
