UPDATED:

The march down Main Street on Monday was a powerful event to behold, but those innocent, uninformed marchers are demanding rights that are not legally theirs, and my heart goes out to them … they know not what they are doing.

I lay most of the blame upon our president who has been playing footsie with his foxy buddy south of the border, and upon our Congressional lawmakers who recently handed out $4 million of our taxpayer money to La Raza, an extremist organization.

La Raza advocates open borders and demands new amnesties and costly benefits for illegal aliens. La Raza has a dangerous influence on many other radical, racist groups that also advocate special rights for illegals. It is offering promises that cannot be fulfilled without breaking more and more laws and wreaking havoc on our economy.

I?ve long supported Americans for Immigration Control (AIC), a great organization which has endlessly petitioned our government to keep the influx of immigrants to a manageable number so they could be comfortably assimilated into our communities. For so many years Congress and the presidents have ignored our pleading to seal our borders. Instead, they have begun funding the CFR?s ?Open Borders? political agenda. The results of their decisions have opened a Pandora?s box.

This dangerous situation can only get worse as our lackadaisical Congress surreptitiously attaches outrageous ?earmarks? to appropriation bills, such as it just did with the La Raza $4 million giveaway. How dare they?

We American citizens must urge our representatives to stop funding the open borders political agenda and instead protect Americans from the dangerous influence of groups like La Raza. Ask your representative to vote NO to giving guest worker amnesty to illegal aliens. At least, do make a local call to Congressman Mike Thompson, 225-4335 or fax 251-9800. He will appreciate your input.
