In reference to ranting Randy Ridgel and his admirer David James (?Letters constitute hate mail,? Your Opinion, May 2), Ridgel states that those of us who contribute to the Sierra Club or their hirelings ? Boxer, Thompson, and Chesbro ? are responsible for $3 gas.
Using that logic one would have to say that all of you who voted for the Bush-Cheney administration are responsible for the death and disaster that is Iraq.
As to Mr. James? statement that hate mail incites hatred among groups in the county, I don?t know about his dictionary but mine says hate means to dislike intensely or passionately detest. That to me pretty well describes ole ranting Randy Ridgel?s ravings.
