MIDDLETOWN — Middletown Youth Football is sponsoring a football camp for youth and high school players and youth and high school coaches on June 3 at Middletown High School.
The camp is a fundraiser for the 2006 Middletown youth football season and money raised will be used to field a third team so that more children can participate.
Camp instructors include longtime Lower Lake head coach Gorodn Sadler and Michael White of Reedley Community College, the Junior College National Coach of the Year in 2002. He?s also served as an assistant at Boise State, Long Beach State and the University of New Mexico. He?ll be joined by several of his Reedley assistant coaches.
The cost is $25 per player and $25 per coach, with a maximum of $100 for each junior varsity or varsity coaching staff.
There will be morning classroom sessions for coaches. The afternoon on-field sessions are for coaches and their players.
The sign-up deadline is May 15.
Businesses who wish to sponsor the camp will have their logos placed on the official camp T-shirt.
