Charles “Chuck” Hinchcliff passed away peacefully on May 5, 2006, at the young age of 67 years. He was a wonderful man, son, husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle and friend. Chuck, a longtime resident of Lakeport, served as its fire chief from 1985 to 1996, was forced to retire due to early onset Alzheimer”s disease.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Denise of 29 years; his parents, Inez and Bud McDaniel; his children, Richard, Patrick and Linda; and six grandchildren.
Chuck was a kind and loving soul and will be sorely missed.
At Chuck”s long ago request no funeral services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to Hospice Services of Lake County or the Lakeport Volunteer Fire Department.
