Hospice Services of Lake County would like to call attention to a Lake County woman who chose to leave an incredible legacy.
Gloria King of Lucerne, who passed away on Sept. 30, 2005, left Hospice Services $37,000. She also equally endowed nine other very worthy nonprofit organizations in our county.
The impact of her generosity on our community is astounding. The fact that one individual loved her community enough to continue her contribution after her passing is indeed admirable.
We join with the other nonprofits in Lake County, who are her beneficiaries in saying thank you to a remarkable woman.
