Why don”t they go home?

My hat is off to Charles Moton of Lucerne (“Illegal aliens don”t really help the U.S. economy,” Your Opinion, May 11). Finally, someone has told it like it is!

I agree with everything he writes.

However, I don”t think these millions of illegals are all working in the fields, which was the original purpose, wasn”t it? They are in every industry, bringing wages down for the blue collar workers. They not only crowd our school, bring up our medical costs but abuse our poorly constructed welfare system.

As Mr. Moton says, they have committed a felony, so how can they have any rights?

In America we put felons in jail; do they have rights, too? The illegals are protesting in our streets freely, should we let the felons in jail out to join them?

Mexico is a beautiful country. Why don”t the millions go home, taking their American supporters and marching in their cities until they get a better government, better working and living conditions and a fair wage?

We could all live a good life and be happy in our own countries.
