Richard W. Filipowicz Jr., age 34, died Monday, May 15, 2006, of a malignant brain tumor.
Rick was born May 30, 1971, in Pennsauken, N.J.
Rick was a former resident of Lakeport, who had resided in Estelle Manor, N.J. for the last two years.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Filipowicz; father, Richard W. Filipowicz Sr. and stepmother, Diane Filipowicz of Kelseyville; mother, Lois Van Derski and step-father John Van Derski of New Jersey; grandparents, Edward and Elsie Filipowicz of Kelseyville; step-sister and brother-in-law, Kerry Smith Dowdy and Jim Dowdy of Kelseyville; step-brother, Ryder Smith of Palm Desert; and sister, Christina Filipowicz of Salinas.
Private funeral services will be held Friday, May 19 in New Jersey.
