In memory of Clifford Rolland Morton, Aug. 17, 1916 to May 16, 2006.
Cliff lived in Clearlake from 1977 to 1996 when he and his life partner Betty Lou Marquardt moved to Santa Rosa and then to Reno, Nev. in August 2001.
He was a member of BPOE 2299 in Clearlake and he received his 49th membership card from the Reno lodge. Cliff was a member of the American Legion and the Oaks Moose Lodge. He was an original member of the Clearlake Sportsman Club and participated in the incorporation of the City of Clearlake. He worked at Mendo Mill for many years, leaving in 1988.
He will be remembered by his daughter, Sharon Gridly and his sons, Frank and Al Morton and especially by his “Lady” Betty Lou and her family.
At his request, his ashes will be scattered at sea.
