Agenda items include:
? Resolutions honoring 2005-06 retirees with more than 10 years of service, including Jill Bardelli, Myrna Dierenfield, Dusty Marong and Frank Turdici.
? Recognition of the Classified Employee of the Year as well as those nominated by each site for the 2005-06 school year.
? Recognition of the Certificated Employee of the Year as well as those nominated by each site for the 2005-06 school year.
? Recognition of the 2005-06 Students and Citizens chosen by each site for Outstanding Achievement, Note-worthy Accomplishments, and Valuable Contributions.
? Recognition of the Certificated and Classified Employees with Perfect Attendance for the 2005-06 school year through April 28.
? Conduct a second reading and adopt revisions to Board Policy & Administrative Regulation 6161.1 Selection & Evaluation of Instructional Materials.
? Approve a request for OHMS AVID Overnight Field Trip.
— Approval of two expulsion cases.
— Approve Interdistrict Attendance Agreements as listed.
— Conduct a second reading and adopt revisions to Board Policy & Administrative Regulation 5144.1 ? Suspension & Expulsion.
— Accept resignations as listed.
— Declare seven trophy cases at LLHS as surplus.
— Declare OHMS library books listed as surplus.
The board will then adjourn into closed session to discuss personnel matters, hold employee negotiations and have a conference with legal counsel.
The board will hold a special board meeting to conduct a Superintendent”s Evaluation Workshop at 7 p.m. May 31 at East Lake Elementary School.
