The members of the Upper Lake Cemetery Board want to thank the Upper Lake Community Council for the beautiful fence that hides the metal pumphouse at the cemetery (which is a necessity, but isn”t very pretty). The Community Council also had some of the cemetery information signs replaced and is working on a historical sign for the older part of the cemetery.
The Upper Lake Community Council cosponsors Wild West Day, and organizes a Thursday night market during the summer, plus other fundraisers during the year. The profits from these events are put back into the community in some way. So, I hope people will come out and support these events.
