County candidates receive more than $62,000 in contributions

LAKEPORT ? With the election just over a week away, the final contributions to local candidates have been reported to the Lake County Registrar of Voters.
Local candidates running in contested elections have received more than $62,000 in donations and loans, as well as $2,466 in nonmonetary constructions for the upcoming primary election on June 6.
The deadline for candidates to file their campaign contribution report was Thursday, May 25. If a candidate receives money after that date, they must report the late contribution to the Registrar of Voters office within 24 hours.
The following is a list of those who have contributed to a candidate”s election campaign. If it is a business, it is listed. Otherwise, they are individual contributions, with individuals” occupations listed along with the amounts given.
Nonmonetary donations ? usually for campaign literature, signs, etc. ? have been given a dollar value. Donations listed as “unitemized” are less than $100 so candidates do not need to disclose the donor.
