Madge G. Ish passed away at home Jan. 31, 2006, at the age of 96. She was born July 6, 1909. A Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the Upper Lake Cemetery Chapel.
Madge was born and raised in Upper Lake and taught school at Upper Lake Elementary for more than 35 years.
Granddaughter of Lake County pioneer J.M. Sleeper, Madge and her husband Stanley were well known in the Lake County farming community for many years.
All former students, colleagues, friends and neighbors are welcome to come share memories and stories in a celebration of her life.
