Since the Pomo Indians were the original inhabitants of the Kelseyville area of Lake County, and therefore indigenous to this region (i.e., before Mexican, Russian, white people “arrived”), would not a fitting and appropriate school name/mascot be “The Kelseyville NATIVES”?
