CLEARLAKE ? The two remaining suspects sought for their alleged involvement in the armed burglary and subsequent kidnapping of two women at a Lake Pillsbury cabin have been arrested.

Clearlake Police detectives arrested Melinda Kay Ramseyer, 21, and Tommy Nace, 22, both of Upper Lake, on Tuesday after Lake County Sheriff”s detectives received information about their possible location.

On May 24, two women arrived at their cabin on Pack Saddle Trail Road in the Lake Pillsbury area of Lake County to find that the door to the cabin was standing open.

Upon entering the cabin, they realized that they had interrupted a burglary in progress.

Ricky Lee Johnson, 37, a transient recently paroled and found to be living in a makeshift cabin on the victims” property, was arrested on May 26 and charged with burglary and kidnapping the women at gunpoint.

Johnson admitted kidnapping the two women at gunpoint during the burglary of their cabin. When sheriff”s detectives interviewed him, Johnson implicated both Nace and Ramseyer in the crime.

Sheriff”s investigators also retrieved a substantial amount of the stolen property from an Upper Lake residence that Johnson told them about during the investigation.

Both Nace and Ramseyer have admitted to different levels of involvement in the crime, according to a report from the Lake County Sheriff”s Office.

Each of the suspects is being held on $250,000 bail.
