Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association and the Redbud Audubon Society held their joint event, The Heron Festival and Wildflower Brunch, on a weekend in late April. Though the weather had been and was threatening rain on the weekend, the event went off without a hitch, and I believe all in attendance had a very nice time.
The Interpretive Association”s brunch and raffle was a complete success, thanks to all the volunteers who put in so much effort and to all the attendees who braved the weather to come and enjoy our “famous” omelets. The support of our community means so much to those of us who work diligently to enhance Clear Lake State Park.
A special thank you to all the staff at the park who helped us move to higher ground it worked well.
