LAKEPORT — The Clear Lake High School varsity girls” soccer team will host its eighth annual soccer camp for boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 the week of June 26-29 on the fields behind the Clear Lake High School gym in Lakeport.
Players of all ability levels are welcome. Camp hours are 9 a.m. until noon.
The registration fee of $60 includes a camp T-shirt. A family discount of $5 per camper is also available if two or more campers register from the same family.
Instruction will be provided by Clear Lake coaches Ken Wagner and Paul Larrea. They will be assisted by members of the Cardinals” defending North Central League I South championship team.
The camp will emphasize basic soccer skills, offensive and defensive play as well as team concepts. It”s a great opportunity for younger players to learn basic soccer skills and to develop a positive attitude toward soccer. There will be contests, individual awards, snacks and game play each day.
Registration forms are available in the Clear Lake High School office. Campers may also register on the first day of camp.
All proceeds benefit the CLHS girls” soccer program.
