CLEARLAKE OAKS An argument between two roommates escalated into a physical fight on Sunday ending with both men being transported to Redbud Community Hospital, and one man charged with attempted murder.
Around 10 p.m. Sunday, June 18, Lake County Sheriff”s deputies responded to a Clearlake Oaks residence for a reported stabbing.
Thomas J. Vichoea, 36, and John G. Anderson reportedly were arguing about a rental payment for their shared residence. According to a LCSO report, the argument escalated into a physical altercation were both sustained injuries and Vicohea was stabbed in the abdomen.
Vicohea was airlifted from Redbud Community Hospital to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further treatment, where he is in stable condition, according to a LCSO press release.
Anderson was also treated at Redbud then arrested and charged with attempted murder.
A large kitchen knife was recovered at the scene.
Anderson remains in custody at the Lake County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
