CLEARLAKE OAKS An early morning accident sent a Cobb resident to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital on Monday after being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Colleen Tobin, 37, of Cobb, was in a solo vehicle accident on Highway 53, slightly south of the junction with Highway 20 at 1:45 a.m. on Monday.
According to Officer Kevin Domby, spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol, Tobin lost control of her 2002 Honda Accord when she ran off the road and her car collided with a dirt embankment, which caused it to overturn.
Tobin was wearing her seatbelt, had to be extricated from her vehicle and was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
As of Monday night, the extent of her injuries were unknown.
