The Lake County Land Trust”s annual Spring fundraiser held at the Saw Shop Gallery Bistro on May 9 was a tremendous success thanks to the efforts of numerous volunteers, donors and guests. The event was sponsored by Robinson Rancheria Resort Casino.

The Land Trust also thanks Marie Beery of the Saw Shop and her staff, chef David Allen Sherman, sous chef Reynaldo Maldonado, prep cook Jaimie Ramirez, and waiters, Brad Brin, Jim Warren, James Voliva and Annie Holloraan for donating the use of the restaurant and preparing and serving the wonderful meal. Also, the Land Trust thanks Foods Etc. for donating the bread, Bruno”s for donating the dessert course, and Steele Wines for donating the wines served throughout the evening.

The proceeds of this year”s Spring Dinner at the Saw Shop will assist the Land Trust”s effort to turn the old farmhouse at The Rodman Ranch and Slough Preserve into a nature and visitor center.

Because of the generosity of those listed above, this project is many steps closer to reality.
