Henry Delbert Raver, of Clearlake, born April 2, 1911, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Redbud Community Hospital, where he had been admitted on the previous evening. He was 95. He had enjoyed excellent physical and spiritual health until the very end.
He was a World War II veteran, and in civilian life, worked as an electrician and laborer. His hobbies were dancing and music. He wrote inspirational poetry and songs well into his 90s.
He is survived by a brother-in-law, Hartley Muhlhauser of Lakeport; and several nieces and nephews of Lake County, Reno, Washington and Los Angeles.
Services will be private.
