LAKEPORT — Saturday night”s action at the Lakeport Speedway will include the return of the Northern California Racing Association modifieds, street stocks and L.A. Cruisers. And for the second time this season, the Cruisers will play “Cruiser Soccer” on the quarter-mile race track.

In “Cruiser Soccer,” the cars push paddle boats around the race track. If a car loses the boat, the driver must go all the way around the track to pick it up before he continues. Any laps completed without the boat are not counted. The winner is the first one to complete 10 laps while pushing the paddle boat.

Also competing Saturday night will be the NCRA mini-stocks and the Guy Strohmeier Auto Center Bombers.

Gates open for the races at 5 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. Admission prices are $9 for adults, $7 for students (12-17) and seniors (62 and over), and $4 for children (6-11). Children 5 and younger get in free.

For more information about the auto races, call the speedway office at 274-2844.
