KELSEYVILLE — Scott Krohn”s walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted the Kelseyville Joe DiMaggio team to a 2-1 win in the second game and a split of its doubleheader with the San Francisco Knights on Saturday at Lloyd Larson Field in Kelseyville.

Krohn”s blast cleared the left-field fence and snapped a 1-1 tie.

Kyle Poloni, working in relief of Ben Olson, picked up the win. He worked the final two innings, allowing two hits and striking out one. Olson scattered four hits and struck out three over the first five innings.

Besides Krohn”s home run, Mike Duman tripled and Curt Lawson and Rich Bucher had singles for Kelseyville.

In the second game, a 9-5 San Francisco victory, Kelseyville reliever Jaime Chavez was charged with the loss while working in relief of Mark Butler, who pitched the first five innings.

Butler went 3-for-4 to lead Kelseyville at the plate and Olson, Chavez and Scott Luis added two hits apiece.

Kelseyville is 11-5 on the season.
