CLEARLAKE — Anthony Driskell pitched two innings for the win and also had a big day at the plate as Westshore routed Cloverdale 21-5 in a first-round game at the Junior League All-Star Tournament on Friday at Redbud Park in Clearlake.
Driskell went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a three-run home run and six RBIs, and Lance McCloud went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to power Westshore”s offense. Ryan Richardson and Kevin Burt added two hits apiece.
Westshore pounded out 17 hits in all and put the game away with an eight-run bottom of the second inning that featured six hits.
