Shirley Cassie Chukalas passed away June 10, 2006, in Colorado, where she was living with her daughter, Andrea. Shirley was born in Imperial on Jan. 23, 1939. She had been a resident of Clearlake since 1979. Shirley owned the Rockhouse bar on Lakeshore Drive for nearly 27 years. She is survived by her three children, Vicki Elder of Clearlake, Bret DeBerry of Lodi and Andrea Ghilotti of Arvada, Colo. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Nicole, Sarah, Shannon and Tyler. She is also survived by her brother Bill Bospflug of Baxter Springs, Kan. Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband of 36 years, Andy. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8 at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Clearlake. Shirley was a great friend and a wonderful mother and grandmother .
