UPDATED:

This is in answer to Robert Derenthol”s May 9 letter, “Joining up with the Steves.” Derenthol believes in evolution, he says, because a lot of “Steves” believe in evolution. He counts 713, to be exact, who are “scientists.”

Derenthol also believes in evolution because famous religious leaders believe in evolution. He doesn”t quote them directly but suggests they help prove he”s right. He”s offended by my letter that said religious leaders are “evil” when they teach evolution doctrine to kids in public schools.

I”m troubled by Derenthol”s letter that says religious leaders who promote evolution in public schools aren”t evil. Evolution clerics are not only abominable when they brainwash kids but especially nauseating when they change the Bible they preach from. They egoistically rewrite the Bible so it”ll agree with them instead of changing themselves to agree with the Bible. This is backward and wrong side up.

Bible readers know God created everything in six days and rested on the Seventh Day. He created Adam on the sixth day, put him to sleep, took a rib and made Eve, according to Genesis. Evolutionists have no theory about Eve evolving from a rib so they modify the Bible and call themselves “theistic” evolutionists. Any grammar school kid knows when they change part of the Bible they might as well change it all. The enemies of God are dancing in the street.

“Theistic” evolution really is a clever attack on God Himself. In the name of God, Darwin”s pastors do away with the miracle of God”s six-day creation. They cast doubt on all the other sensational stories of God”s contact with mankind.

Derenthol, and apparently 713 Steves, believe both, evolution and Genesis. This is impossible. Evolution can”t explain how a rib turned into a woman while Adam slept.
