Louis H. Rosarioereys, age 69, passed away July 10, 2006, in Lakeport. He was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Coamo, Puerto Rico. Louis served in the Army and was a member of the Sons In Retirement (SIRS) and the American Legion.
Louis was a fun-loving man who loved to visit with family and friends. A few of his passions were playing golf, spending time with his beloved dachshund, spending time with his wife of 23 years, going on trips and visiting local casinos. He also was an avid bowler, playing with the SIRS Branch #133. He spent a lot of time around the house watching his favorite programs on television, such as wrestling, gold and the western channel. He made a promise to his youngest daughter Julianna that he hoped he would live to see her graduate from high school. She made him a proud dad. He had a nickname for her, it was Papa. That was his way of telling her he loved her.
So we thank you, Lord, for letting him keep his promise. He will be greatly missed by all, he had many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters and in-laws whom he loved and who loved him.
Louis is survived by wife of 23 years, Pamela Rosarioereys of Lower Lake; daughters, Julianna Rosarioereys of Lower Lake, Judy Alberts of Grass Valley, Vangie Crump of Redwood City, Vivianne Borrello of Grass Valley; sons, Louis Rosario of Burlingame, Taino Rosario of Clearlake; sisters, Anilda Rosario of Tampa, Fla., Anne Marie Colon of San Francisco, Zaida Ortiz of Coamo, PR.; brother, Jose Colon of San Francisco; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Clearlake. A graveside service will follow after the mass.
Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
