“An Inconvenient Truth” is playing at the Lakeport Cinema until Thursday, July 27. If you look past the prejudices of the political parties and keep an open mind you will be able to see what is being said.
Yes, there are dramatics but maybe it will get you to thinking that this is serious; not a sci-fi movie but a real possibility of what the future holds.
In my opinion parents should take their children over the age of 12 to see this film with them, and talk about it afterward. Your children and grandchildren are the ones who are going to be left with our disavowing of the facts regarding global warming.
Following this movie I am hoping that Lakeport Cinema will be showing “Who Killed the Electric Car”. To see both of these movies is a real thought-provoking process and one that hopefully will start people to question what the government is doing with our lives.
