Lorne Robert Simmons, born April 3, 1920, met his maker July 20, 2006, in Lucerne.
A very humorous, thoughtful and caring man will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife, Alta May; his sons, Peter of Atascadero, Paul of San Leandro, John of Brentwood and Richard of Livermore; his daughters, Suzanne Ferguson of Antioch, Virginia Caton of San Diego; and second family Linda Cameron, Marie Morris, John Ricketson, and Don and Sheila Howard; as well as many grandchildren.
We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shaw, Wayne Myers RN, Sharon Weeks MSW, Hospice of Lake County and all those who attended him.
