Clyde Wayne Lackey passed away at Alta Bates Summit Hospital Saturday morning surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband and father.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kay; six children; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and an extensive extended family.

Survivors include daughter, Gail Alves and her sons, Brandon and Dylan (Stacey) of Cloverdale; daughter, Gay Lynn Salmina of Lower Lake; son, Mark Lackey (Christi) and their daughter Alair and son Chad of Benicia; son, Craig Lackey (Keri) and their daughters, Brianna and Amanda of Petaluma; son, Brian Lackey of Albany; daughter, Jodine Wells and her son Kyle and daughter Melissa of Oroville; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Julie, Cheyenne, Kaylie and Kevin; seven nieces; five nephews; and a multitude of grand nieces and nephews. He enjoyed many close years with his nieces, Georgia, Virginia and Maryland, and nephew Darrell.

Clyde was preceded in death by his mother, father, one sister and four brothers.

Clyde was a proud 35-year employee and 20-year retiree of Chevron U.S.A., Richmond. His bright smile and happy outlook on life made him friends everywhere he went. He always looked forward to making his family rounds on the weekends, trips to his vacation home in Lake County and getaways to Reno with his wife, Kay. He was always involved with his grandchildren and they were always happy to see Grandpa show up to support and cheer them on in all their activities. They also liked to hear his stories of the “Good Ole” Days”. He will be dearly missed, but will always be looking down on us and we”ll always carry him in our hearts.

Services have been held. Interment at Sunset View Cemetery, (510) 525-5111.
