Sports physicals for Lower Lake High School students have been scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 in the LLHS gymnasium. The cost for the physical is $12 per person. Checks can be made out to LLHS Athletics. Students must have a sports physical and activities certificate on file before being allowed to practice or play in games of any sport. Parents are encouraged to visit the high school”s sports web site at www.lowerlakesports.com to download a copy of the activities certificate prior to the night of the sports physicals. Activities certificates can also be obtained from the LLHS front office. Please bring completed form on the night of physicals.
Information regarding Lower Lake High School student atheltic programs is available online at www.lowerlakesport.com. The Web site features sport event schedules and competition statistics, athlete rosters, coaches” contact information, eligibility requirements, photographs and more.
The site also features a parents” guide and a location where students can access “Trojan Handouts.” Handouts include information on such topics as motivation, competition, family, self-esteem, character and more. The parents” guide discusses the role of the parent and how to make athletic inclusion a rewarding experience for each student.
