Lower Lake High School”s new principal, Jeff Dickson, along with Superintendent Dr. Louise Nan, joined students of the summer Algebra Academy in a problem solving exercise on Wednesday, July 26. The “Knot Game” challenged participants in unweaving a knot created by the joining of hands. The group had to untie the knot without letting go of each other”s hands.
The summer Algebra Academy, taught by Tiffany Bywaters and directed by Marlena Leister, has a total of 16 incoming freshman enrolled. The class consists of Brenda Janeth Avila, Ricky Contreras, Tim Cortez, Eduardo Garcia, Stephani Graham, Melissa Grillett, Joanna Gutierrez, Angela Hood, Jennifer Imlach, Keilana Jackson, Tyler Langlais, Silvia Lopez, Tiffany Molina, Johnnie Radford, Victoria Tucker and Vannesa Velis.
