Patricia “Patty” Maureen DeMaria, age 53, born March 31, 1953, in Los Angeles, passed away on July 28, 2006, in St. Helena.
Patty moved to Lake County at the age of five. At the age of ten Patty started her first job peeling potatoes at Bee”s Cafe in Clearlake Oaks. Thirty years later she bought that restaurant and named it Patty”s Place. For five years people came from miles around to enjoy good food and her smiling face.
On May 11, 1975, she married her husband, Gary and enjoyed over thirty-one years together raising their three daughters in Clearlake Oaks. An avid motorcycle rider she loved the trips they took on their Harley Davidsons.
Patty is survived by her husband, Gary; daughters, Tina Erlich of Clearlake, Tiffany DeMaria of Clearlake Oaks and Angela (Eric) DeMaria-Souza of Lakeport; grandchildren, Anthony DeMaria, Candace Monize, Karlie and Taylor Erlich, and Alainna Souza; brother, Mike and sister-in-law, Vicki Bigelow; sister, Sharon Ybright and brother-in-law, James Ybright.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7 at Lower Lake Cemetery in Lower Lake.
