* Clearlake/Callayomi Masonic Lodge No. 183 will serve the “Best Breakfast in Lake County,” 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at the lodge, located at 7100 S. Center Drive in Clearlake. The menu includes three egg omelets or eggs to order, ham or sausage, hashbrowns, or pancakes or biscuits and gravy for $6. Children younger than 12 for only $3. Come one and all to this delicious breakfast served by the ladies of the Eastern Star, assisted by the Rainbow Girls, and support the good works of the Masons, Shriners and Scottish Rite.

* The Lake County Public Services Department”s HazMobile will accept household hazardous waste, Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Lake County Fire Protection District”s Olympic Drive fire station in Clearlake. Households can bring up to 15 gallons of toxic items free of charge based on the size of the container.
