Laurilla Elizabeth Del Signore passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006.

She was born in Onaway, Michigan on May 1, 1917.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Madalena C. Del Signore-Woodard of Lodi; son, John R. Del Signore of Lakeport; grandsons, John M. and Lori Del Signore-Woodard of Lodi and Jared B. Del Signore-Woodard of Lodi; great-granddaughter, Laine Sophia Woodard of Lodi.

She graduated from Broadview Academy in La Grange, Ill., in 1937.

Laurilla worked as a nanny for three years and went to trade school and then when the war started she went to work at Ford Motor Co. working on B-24”s. She met her husband in Detroit, Michigan, while attending a Christmas party and they married on January 21,1945.

They then moved to California and worked at different jobs. They loved to go camping and fishing.

Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Del Signore; parents, Joseph and Edna Trombley of Michigan; and sister, Josephine O”Reilly and brother, LeRoy Trombley both of Michigan.

Laurilla was a member of Lakeport Seventh-day Adventist Church.

A private service has been planned.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Laurilla Elizabeth Del Signore be made to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc., 10850 Wilshire Blvd. Ste. 730, Los Angeles, CA 90024 or to Hospice of Lake County, 1717 S. Main St., Lakeport, CA 95453.
