Nancy Schreckengost passed away Aug. 27, 2006 at Santa Rosa Kaiser Hospital.
She is survived by husband, Ben Schreckengost; sisters, Janet L. Howaniec, and Mary Ann Ponder and family. Nancy was a native of Washington, born in Seattle, and resident of Lake County for over 20 years.
She was a member of Horseman Association and an accomplished horsewoman. She was a member of Lakeport Christian Center.
Nancy was a “real trooper” according to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
Nancy will be missed by everyone.
A memorial service to be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Lakeport Christian Center, 455 S. Forbes St. The Rev. Mike Suski officiating.
Donations may be made to Junior Diabetes Juvenile Association.
