Sandra Eddy Fox 61, of Ukiah passed Saturday, September 9, 2006 at a local residential care home following a long illness. Sandra was born May 13, 1945 in Napa, Ca.
Sandra had lived in Ukiah for the last 40 years. She had received an A.A. Liberal Arts degree at Mendocino College in 2001. Sandra worked as a clerk at Safeway, Saving Bank of Mendocino Co. and was part-owner and employee at the Hometown Shopper where she was an accountant.
Sandra loved outdoor activities hunting, fishing, camping, boating and sports, softball, bowling and dancing at one time she was a member of the South Ukiah Rotary.
Sandra is survived by her daughter Lisa Davey-Bates and husband Perry Bates of Ukiah; brother, Gary Jones of Sacramento; grandchildren, Lauren Davey, Lindsay Davey, Macee Bates; nephews, Kevin and Shawn Jones of Sacramento.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Jones and her mother, Frances L. Jones in March of 2006 at the age of 91.
A celebration luncheon to share in the memories of Sandy”s full and energetic lifestyle will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at Kyen Campground Site Oak G. at Lake Mendocino.
Private inurnment will be at Lower Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary 462-2206.
