Kenneth Randall Sulger died at his Lakeport home Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, upon returning from the VA Medical Center in Portland, Ore., where he was awaiting a liver transplant.
Even though Randall and his wife Linda Lafaro-Sulger, moved to Lake County only two years ago, they formed many dear friendships including those of the Unitarian Universalist Community.
Randall was a long-term resident of Santa Cruz prior to moving here and will be remembered by many loving friends.
His love of nature led him to a lifetime study of plants and herbs and he worked in gardening and photography. He loved hiking, exploring and learning. Randall was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels and a volunteer with Hospice Services of Lake County.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
