The Lucerne Senior Center cooking crew, in a return engagement, will serve lunch in Barty”s Caf? across the street from Lewis Hall each day.
Kerrie Hershey, owner of Kerrie”s Quilting in Lakeport, is this year”s “Featured Quilt Artist.” A special display of her quilts will showcase the traditional patterns and colors she favors and the colorful, scrappy quilts that she loves to make. Show guests will see why she earned the award for “Best Machine Workmanship — Traditional” at the 2003 Pacific International Quilt Show in Santa Clara. Hershey, who has been quilting since 1980, opened Kerrie”s Quilting in 1991, first located in her home and now located at 1853 N. High Street in Lakeport.
