Are you a writer/potential writer of poems, essays, skits, plays, novels, letters to the editor, magazine articles? Then come to a Writers” Circle from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the first Thursday in October, November and December — that”s Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and, Dec. 7 — at the Lake County Arts Council gallery in Lakeport, to share writings, give constructive feedback or just listen and enjoy. In December the group will decide day and time for 2007.
Be prepared to do a brief opening writing exercise and/or take part in a “creativity game.” The writers” circle may work in small groups to ensure everyone gets a chance to read.
This circle could inspire you to take part in local open mic venues, set up another writers” circle, submit your work for publication/contests or help set up forthcoming events.
