Edna Miille passed away Sept. 27, 2006. Her beloved husband of 62 years, Bud, was at her side. She was born in Laton and raised in Daly City, where she attended Jefferson High School.
Bud and Edna raised their family in Redwood City and retired to Lakeport in 1981. Edna loved the lakeside community of Lakeport and enjoyed her 25 years here playing bridge, collecting cows and volunteering at the resale shop benefiting Hospice Services of Lake County.
She is survived by a son, Robert Miille, his wife Camille, grandson, Keith and granddaughter, Andrea, all of Vermont; daughter, Jann Acevedo and her husband Joe of Redwood City; granddaughter, Jolee Sears, her husband Mitch and great-granddaughters, Sophia and Chloe, all of Davis; grandson, Justin Acevedo and his wife Laura, of Santa Cruz. She also leaves a brother, Charles Page, of Petaluma.
The Family wishes to thank Sutter Lakeside Hospital”s ICU and dialysis staff for their wonderful care provided to Edna and her family during her illness. Also many thanks go out to all her friends for their cards, telephone calls and prayers.
At her request, there will be no final services; she was cremated and her ashes will remain at home with Bud in Lakeport.
A tree will be planted in Lakeport in Edna”s memory.
