On Saturday morning, Oct. 7, 2006, the Lord came to take Albert “Al” Leaver to rest peacefully in His heavenly kingdom.
Al was born in Sloan, N.Y. on April 27, 1936.
Al was truly loved by so many people all over the lake.
He always had a wonderful smile and laughter to cheer up anybody to make everyone feel good about themselves.
Al”s jokes and great personality will live forever in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Al is survived by his wife Syria of 48 years; six children, Patricia Ekdall, Debbie Jeffers, Judy Parker, Lola Bettencourt, George Leaver and Cynthia Speers; 12 grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer, Samantha, Kimberly, T.J., Jeff, Sara, Mary, Esther, Lauren, Melannie and Kyle; and two great-grandchildren, Izabella and Emily.
Al will be missed by everyone. God bless him.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at St. Peter”s Catholic Church in Kelseyville.
