The Clearlake Police Department (CPD) is investigating the circumstances surrounding a body found in a public restroom in Redbud Park on Friday, Oct. 6.
The CPD reported that at about 2:16 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Redbud Park to assist Public Works in checking a bathroom stall near the boat dock. The door to the stall had been locked and there had been no response to knocking on the door.
Upon the unlocking of the door, it was discovered that the body of a white male adult was located on the floor inside. CPD reported that there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and identification has not been made at this time.
An investigation is pending with additional information to be released as necessary. Persons with further information are requested to contact Sgt. Hermann at 994-8251.
