Hammes Roofing is holding tight to its unblemished record, leading the Southshore Adult Coed Softball League at 6-0. Hammes Roofing was scheduled to face Griffin”s Furniture on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and will meet Griffin”s on the field again on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Hammes Roofing handed two losses to Park View Market during week five action. On Tuesday, Oct. 3 Park View fell to the Hammers, 12-5 and on Sunday, Oct. 8, 17-8. Park View now holds a 3-4 record in regular league play.
Pine Dell Store picked up another win last week with 21-16 victory over Griffin”s Furniture. Pine Dell now stands at 5-3 and Griffin”s is posting a 2-4 record.
Smalley Construction is holding onto third place in league standing posting a 4-2 record. Smalley handed Holistic Solutions its seventh consecutive loss of the season in a make-up game played on Monday, Oct. 9. Holistic Solutions is posting a 0-7 record.
Player of the Week was awarded to Pine Dell”s Jeremy Nelson who went 5×5 with three RBIs against Griffin”s on Sunday, Oct. 8.
SACSL is holding a turkey dinner raffle that includes the fixings to feed 10 to 12 people. The dinner includes a gift certificate for a turkey, stuffing mix, vegetables, cranberry sauce, canned yams, rolls, a pumpkin pie and an apple pie and two bottles of sparkling apple cider.
