So now we have our Speaker of the House caught in the act of coddling criminals ? something they have always accused the “liberals” of doing. Remember what happened when presidential candidate Michael Dukakis was accused of such behavior?
Hypocrites such as Dennis Hastert should not only be forced to resign, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the laws that they themselves put on the books. Let”s have equal treatment here ? perhaps Hastert and his pals, who knew about this ongoing criminal activity, should have their constitutional rights taken away and be sent to Guantanamo for a round of torture, under the new guidelines they just put into effect.
After a few waterboardings, a little beating or two and perhaps some time in solitary confinement, one can only imagine what useful information that would come to light about criminal activity around the world!
