CLEARLAKE — Police are searching for a Clearlake man who allegedly shot two people Thursday morning.

Clearlake Police Department reported Thursday afternoon that the department received a report of two victims being shot in front of the American Legion Hall on Austin Drive at 10:30 a.m.

The victims, a 26-year-old male and his 33-year-old female companion, were both allegedly shot several times by a known suspect, identified as 33-year-old Clearlake resident Ronell Isaac.

According to the CPD report, Isaac reportedly pursued the victims” vehicle just prior to the incident and pulled in behind them when they stopped.

After the incident, Isaac reportedly fled the scene. The male victim drove both himself and the female victim to Redbud Hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.

The CPD report stated there were no reports of other shooting victims, although a vehicle parked down the street on Austin Drive was damaged when a stray bullet struck it.

Isaac is still outstanding and is currently wanted for attempted murder and weapons charges.
